WHO WE ARE

Stage Five was founded by Pam Johnson to stage compelling theatre in exciting venues and to share fun and drama with all ages.

Based in Oswestry on the Shropshire/Wales border, cast and crew for productions are drawn from a wide area and includes anyone keen to have fun, join an ensemble and create a piece of theatre.

Theatre professionals often join us for tuition and workshops.

Pam also offers workshops and gives talks on Shakespeare and the Elizabethan era.

Much Ado About Nothing

July 2024

We are thrilled to have been invited to a local school to present a one hour,

script in hand performance of Much Ado About Nothing to the students.

Using fun props and simple costume we will bring the story

and the language alive .

This is a private performance but if your school would like a curriculum based performance or workshop please do get in touch.

Adult Stage Combat Workshops

August 2024

The fantastic Tom Jordan from Rebel Action will be working with us in August.

We are offering 2 evening of adult stage combat workshops in Pant Memorial Hall

on Wednesday 7th and Tuesday 13th August.

£20 per evening - no experience necessary.

Tom will teach stage action and how to use stage weapons in a totally safe way.

Junior Drama and Stage Combat Workshops

August 2024

Once again we are bringing theatre professionals to Oswestry to deliver

exciting and confidence building workshops to young people.

These 3 day junior workshops are FREE thanks to the generous funding from the

Shropshire County Council Vibrant Shropshire funding.
